Saxophonist – Composer – Arranger – Educator
Several saxophone players asked me about my experience of travelling by plane with my saxophone. Their concerns are legit, because policies by airplane companies are still not adapted to musicians with instruments.
Think about it.
How did you learn how to speak? Who did you speak with? How many rules did you have to follow when you started speaking?
There were absolutely no rules, you just listened to your parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, neighbours,… and started to imitate them.
To continue my series on practising, this book by the Belgian recorder player Bart Spanhove is a goldmine if you are looking for strategies for practising that are really rewarding!
